Your
stay at Welcome Springs includes:
- Full and generous breakfast provisions, using mostly fresh and local produce.
- Quality Linen. Towels and most toiletries are provided for your use. All beds are fitted with Electric blankets in winter. Individual Inv R/c air-conditioners for your personal comfort.
- Fresh flowers and fruit, glass of port (or two). Chocolates and a few home made goodies.
- Spacious Deluxe main bedroom with a KING Size Bed, Tasmanian Oak timber suite.
- Two digital HD-Tv’s with Large DVD library. Wi-fi internet & Voip phone.
- Third room used for Massage or extra single bed upon request.
- Bathroom has a full-size bath to soak in and a large separate shower.
- The Garden room has floor to ceiling windows that provide an excellent view of the Valley, water features, Cottage gardens and abundant Bird Life.

- An additional separate toilet is next to Garden room and rear deck, a front loading washing machine is also provided.

We
are well aware of the environment and its troubles, we endeavour to save on
energy use and conserve water where possible and practical. Lighting in the
House and Garden uses mostly Low Voltage globes, some with battery backup and
charged by Solar Panels. A variety of Mini long life fluorescent globes are
also used.
Most organic waste is composted. The Alexandrina Council recycling collection system gets the rest!
Most of the roof area is used to collect rainwater that is stored in two 33,000ltr tanks along with fresh spring water from our Well. The cool clean water is then filtered and used for drinking, washing & cooking in both the B&B and our home.
Toilets are all dual flush (low usage) and the shower heads are flow restricted, all of this waste water is collected in a very large in-ground tank. Then our BioCycle aerobic septic system processes the water and pumps it up to the orchard where it is safe to use through an extensive dripper network. Now that’s what we call recycling!.
